Directed by a senior Advisory Council chartered with serving the interest of the Bioinformatics end-user community, our goal is to accelerate scientific discovery by taking a fresh, unencumbered user-centric approach to defining and delivering alternative solutions to specific computational challenges as defined by the end users of scientific research in this community.

In addition to defining and delivering alternative computational solutions for Bioinformatics such as purpose-built HPC appliances, the Alliance will serve as a much needed resource for connecting qualified researchers with available, alternative HPC platforms throughout the HPC ecosystem, while making the usability of those systems simple and transparent.
